Tracy Birkinbine is a Licensed Professional Counselor who offers individual counseling. While working with individuals facing various challenges like anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, she specializes in assisting individuals dealing with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and understanding the wide range of emotions of facing infertility and adoption. She maintains a private practice in the Daytona Beach area of Florida.

After facing seven heart-wrenching and difficult years of infertility, including three unsuccessful in vitro fertilizations, Tracy explored, and ended up going down the road of adoption. These experiences taught Tracy that there are emotions and thoughts that require the need to talk to someone who understands. Tracy is the

adoptive mother of one, biological mother of two, and step-mother of two. Tracy appreciates the struggles and rewards that come with parenting and enjoys working with parents who may be facing obstacles in their relationships with their children. In addition to working with individuals facing adoption, Tracy has had additional and extensive training in the area of Attachment Disorder that can commonly be associated with children/individuals who have been adopted or spent time in the foster care system.

Tracy is an interactive, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
